Price Alerts & Notifications
Get notified instantly when prices drop on items you're watching or when new listings match your criteria.
Creating a Price Alert
From the Buyer Dashboard, go to "Price Alerts" and click "Create Alert." Enter a search query, optionally filter by category and condition, then set your target price. You'll be notified when matching listings appear.
Alert Types
FairClose supports two types of alerts: Price Drop alerts (triggered when an existing watched item's price changes) and New Listing alerts (triggered when a new listing matches your saved criteria).
Push Notifications
Enable push notifications in your Notification Settings to receive real-time alerts even when you're not on the site. Alerts are also sent via email.
Managing Your Alerts
View all active alerts from your dashboard. You can pause, edit, or delete alerts at any time. Triggered alerts show the matching listings for quick action.
Best Practices
Set alerts for specific brands or conditions to reduce noise. Use the category filter to narrow results. Review triggered alerts promptly as auction items may have limited time remaining.
