ConsignPro Guide

Submit items for FairClose-native consignment, track authentication, listing preparation, sale settlement, and payouts.

1

What ConsignPro Does

ConsignPro lets FairClose members submit items for consignment while FairClose sellers, concierges, or approved partners prepare and sell them through the normal marketplace listing engine.

2

Submitting an Item

Start from /consign or open Dashboard β†’ ConsignPro, enter item title, brand, category, condition, estimated value, shipping method, and description, then submit the intake. Your item receives a consignment ID and timeline.

3

Authentication and COA

Items that require authentication use the existing Arquivis workflow. Certificate events can update the consignment before a listing exists, then carry forward into the FairClose listing draft.

4

Commission Structure

ConsignPro supports the 15% promotional commission and 18% default commission, with admin-approved overrides. The sale-time calculation is stored as a ledger snapshot for auditability.

5

Listing and Payouts

Once approved, staff can create a regular FairClose listing draft linked to your consignment. When the item sells, the existing wallet and Stripe Connect payout system records the consignor net payout.

6

Enterprise Controls

ConsignPro protects the workflow with valid state transitions, terminal-state locks, assigned-manager authorization, admin-only assignment and commission overrides, positive draft pricing, audit history, and existing FairClose listing/wallet systems.
